Zip folder empty

I am trying to extract the contents of a pdf to a zip file on onedrive then extract the files in order to view the json.  My flow uses the adobe connector to extract and create a zip file on one drive but the folder is empty so it's not really grabbing anything from the pdf itself.
I have the same question (0)

Whenever I've tried to do this in the past I've always had to put something in the folder or ZIP simply ignores that folder.  You can easily create a small text file with something like "Delete Me" as the text in the folder using Power Automate. It will then zip the folder.  That's the only way I've ever gotten it to work.

I'm not quite clear on your reply.  Let me provide a better explanation.  My ultimate goal is to take an email that will always have the same named adobe file (autogenerated after processed) attached.  Save a copy of that attachment to a SharePoint library and also rename the file based on information contained in that adobe file.  I got everything to work - grab the file, create a copy in the library and rename it based on the file name.  But I need to rename it based on a form field in the file itself.  So to isolate that process, I've been working on a test flow where I upload a pdf, use the adobe connector to extract a zip file then try a json file to hopefully be able to see how I can access the info I need.  I was getting resource not found errors when trying to extract archive to folder because the folder is empty.  I tried adding a simple text file to each folder but I'm not sure if that's what you meant.

That's not the scenario I thought you were talking about.  But are you trying to use the file or folder from the previous create file step in your flow?  If so that may be what is not being found.  When Power Automate creates a file in a SharePoint library its not instantaneous.  You often have to put a delay in before you have an action use the file.  Try adding a 15 second delay between the create file action and the Extract Archive action.

Sorry I am failing in my explanations.  For testing purposes, I am using OneDrive for Business so the file is being created on my OneDrive account at the root level.  I see the zip file and even if I try to exact it myself, it says there is nothing to extract.  It's just creating an empty file.

Please post the configuration of your create file.  Also, you are aware that the actions to do this on the network file system are different than the actions to do it on OneDrive.

Just using the output of the Extract action won't create a ZIP file.  I suspect that is why the zip is empty when you try to unzip it.  Without a third party connector I'm not aware of any action in a cloud flow that can create a zip.  That's one of the things I've always had to use Power Automate Desktop for.

I'm just trying to understand but isn't the Adode a 3rd party connector.  I set up an account to use their API services.  Here is that action info.
