HI folks,

I'm new to using flow and trying to build a flow to import excel data into a SP list

First problem is I when I go to select the table in my file I get a message saying "Could not retrieve values. Error exectuing the api". I definetaly have my data in a table in this spreadsheet.Flow Connection Error.PNG

@ilu989 This was the cause of my error. I could get to the site, collection, and file, but could not select a table with the error above. Had the owner disable "require checkout" on the collection, and it resolved the issue.

    Hi @Rockstar55 ,

Might be the error is because your Excel file has set to been check-out before the edit, so the connector has no permission to get the table.

    Hi @Rockstar55 ,

Please try to log out of the Flow account and log back in.

Then reconfigure or update Excel online connection and create a similar Flow check to see if the problem still exists.

I did a test on my side and can normally select the expected Table from the Excel file. When configuring File, please select the specified File through File Browse.

This seems to be a temporary error. MS Flow Support has not updated any issues with the service.

Please try it a few times. If the problem persists, please let us know.

    Best Regards,

According to the Troubleshooting a Flow documentation, a 502 Error is "transient" or temporary.  Others have reported a similar issue, so there might be a problem with the Flow/SharePoint Online service at the moment.

If the error code 500 or 502 appears, the failure is temporary or transient. Click or tap Resubmit to try the flow again.

You can check the status of your Office 365 tenant at portal.office.com/servicestatus. If the issue persists, you should submit a support request at support.office.com.

If this reply has answered your question or solved your issue, please mark this question as answered.
