I created 2 flows in Power Automate Desktop as shown below, but I can't find the actual flow files anywhere on my local Windows laptop or in my OneDrive account or on DataVerse. I want to be able to version control them, back the up, share them, etc. Can someone help me to find these flow files so that I can make sure they are safe and under version control?
PS: Why does this post require us to add a category when the only options for the category are "Licensing" or "Process Advisor"? I can't make sense of that.
Unfortunately Power Automate Desktop doesn’t natively support version control like Git.
However, you can manually version control your flows by exporting them and storing the exported files in a version control system like GitHub or Azure DevOps.
To get the files;
Open Power Automate Desktop.
Go to the Flows tab.
Select the flow you want to export.
Click on the Export button.
Choose the Export as .zip file option and save it to your desired location
