Bug in Camera Control

This has happened in two of my apps, and in both it happens every time I edit them.

I have a camera control, that uses a drop down selection for the camera available devices. In the camera the camera is set to be

CameraSelectionDropdown.Id    and in the drop down control I have items set to be Camera.availabledevices

Everything works perfectly, I can change from front to rear camera on any device in any platform web or powerapps player.   Insert Problem. If I edit the app in any way, not even navigating to the page where the camera control is, the camera itself looses the config of CameraSelectionDropdown.Id   and changes back to 0    which is the first camera available.

So no matter what Change I make in the canvas app where this is, I have to always make sure to navigate to the camera control and change the 0 back to CameraSelectionDropdown.Id     and all will work.

Has been going on since september 2023 before that it worked fine.

So far nobody from Microsoft has made any attempt to assist, I have tried about every way I could and this is the only place to report a bug. Maybe we just need more responses to get some traction.

That's a very strange one. I suggest you open a ticket with MSFT support. That is a legit big and they should deal with it.
