How to improve performance with PowerBI controls

Are there any tips for performance improvement when using PowerBI controls?

I'm already using the minimum quantity of controls in my application (3)
I show different data using URL filters
What else can I do? 

Will it help to make the controls not clickable? (Right now they redirect to PowerBI when clicked)
