Do all Flows terminate in 30 days?

I am very new to Flow. Someone told me that all Flows terminate in 30 days. I found this web page:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/flow/limits-and-config#run-duration-and-retention

which says:

Name Limit Notes

Run duration30 daysIncludes workflows with pending steps like approvals. After 30 days, any pending steps time-out. Timed-out approvals are removed from the approvals center. If someone attemps to approve a timed-out request, they’ll receive an error message.

Does that mean if I have a Flow that needs to run, let's say, every time a new list item is created, that that Flow will not run any more after 30 days?

    Hi @Anonymous,

Yes, you are right, every time a new list item is created, that Flow will not run any more after 30 days.

    Best regards,

    Alice

Thank you for the response. But if another new item is created, the flow will run again, right? Does this just mean that if there are pending actions not complete on a flow after 30 days, it will stop "trying"?

    Hi @Anonymous,

Your understanding is correct. An individual flow run execution can last up to 30 days.

eg. If you have a flow that's triggered by receiving an email and you get an email on November 1st, it would have through November 30th to complete that flow run execution (or timeout). If you then receive another email on December 1st, the flow would continue to work and that run would have through December 30th to complete.

    Best,

    Travis
