hi friends,
i need some help with a Microsoft Forms + Planner automation.
i was receiving an "Action 'Create_a_task' failed" error on a flow, and used the addDays expression solution to fix it.
this solution created a new problem. now the "due date" in Planner is set to the "start date," rather than the due date set by the user on the Form. How can I combine addDays with the user-submitted due date via Get response details?
Thanks in advance!
A screenshot of your existing flow will help
Sure, I can do that! Let me know if you'd like me to expand any components.
Can you please show your due date logic?
sure, happy to! i use the expression linked in the original post:
Yes, that is possible. You just need to look for the field in your Get Response details action.
Your addDays expression should refer to this field instead of utcnow()
Posted a screenshot above
Thank you @SudeepGhatakNZ. I think that will reintroduce my initial problem. How do I integrate Get response details and the addDays/utcnow() solution to prevent Schema Validation failures?
@emi , How far did you get? Is this still a problem or have you figured out a way?
@SudeepGhatakNZ I'm still hung up on combining a user-selected date with the utcnow expression. Is that not possible?
Hi @emi ,
I think what you are trying to do is when a user fills out the form, you want to create a task with the Start Date being the date when the form was submitted and the Due date being a day later. Correct?
I couldn't reproduce the issue you are facing. What is different in your case?
