Actionable Emails without Premium Flow

Is there any way to send Actionable Messages without a premium subscription to Flow?  All the information I have read does not say that this is only available to Premium users, but when I try to create a flow triggered by an HTTP request to process the information from the Actionable Messages, I am told I need to upgrade to Premium Flow.  Is there something I am missing?  It seems silly that we can Send Emails with Options using Flow, and can send Actionable Messages, but cannot send and process Actionable Messages using Flow.  What I am trying to do is send an email with blank fields and mutliple choice options to users, and then update Sharepoint items with the information they enter in the email.  Is there a way to do this with the Standard resources?  Thank you for your help.

Hi @JBSF , thank you for your post.

My understanding is that HTTP connectors now require a premium subscription, Flow Plan 1 to be precise.

If you see this link: https://emea.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/

You will see: "Connectivity to custom applications or with the HTTP connectors is not available for Office 365 licenses."Capture-438.png

A better post on the subject in this forum is here: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Flow-Community-Blog/Licensing-Updates-to-Microsoft-Flow-and-PowerApps-in-Office-365/ba-p/191196

Effective February 1, 2019, the following capabilities will only be available with PowerApps and Flow Plan 1 and Plan 2:

    • Creation and publication of custom connectors in PowerApps and Microsoft Flow
    • HTTP custom actions integrated into Flow outside SharePoint and OneDrive
    • Integration of on-premises data through the on-premises  data gateway

Sorry I can't give you a free way to use HTTP Request but I expect this is why you are asked to upgrade.

If you have found my post helpful, please mark thumbs up.

    Any other questions, just ask.

    Thanks, Alan

Thank you for the response and information.  The change in HTTP requests needing a premium account took me by suprise, as I had been able to use them in December, but I see from your posts that this change just happened in Februray of this year, so that makes sense.  I was not interested so much in a way to use HTTP requests for free, but wondered if anyone knew of a workaround to send Actonable Messages using Flow without using the now premium HTTP requests, I am sorry if my first post was worded confusingly.  Unfortunately, upgrading to Premium Flow is not an option for my organization, so I am trying to develop a solution for our problem that only uses the Standard Flow features.  Thank you for your help!
