Flows don't exist, but exist - tough one... any help would be appreciated

I have three flows called with a canvas app and I have been playing around with them being in a solution or out. In the solution, the canvas app loses linkage to the flows, so i opted to have them out of a solution, although the flows are depending on an entity within the solution. On Friday, I could see them and they worked fine. Now on Monday, they are done.. I know how crazy that sounds.

I have ended up in a situation where the flows which are NOT within a solution, have "disappeared". Although I can still see them from the power automate admin center. here are some details about the current state:

  • in PAAC they appear without an owner, and they cannot be shared. Sharing results in a non-descript error, but with the developer console, I can see the modified permissions call results in the following:
    • {"error":{"code":"EntityFlowSharingNotSupported","message":"Sharing through Flow is not currently supported for solution-aware flows. Permissions management should be conducted through the environment-linked XRM instance."}}
  • in Power Automate they don't show up at all within My Flows, My Team Flows, or any solutions. Within my app, they show up as connections, but when do not when you select Action-> Flows
  • in the XRM interface (power app-> Advance setting -> settings drop down -> customizations -> customize the system -> processes, they are there and defined as modern flows, with me as the owner
  • when I try to open them, they throw the following exception (but I get this is a general exception anytime you try to access a modern flow)
    • Unknown Entity Name: The entity name doesn't exist. Please specify an existing entity name.
  • if, within the XRM environment, I show dependencies, it correctly identifies the entity on which it is dependent
  • within the XRM environment, I can see the entity and it is published

i managed to find a error detail (although don't recall where):

    Hello Coupster,

    It looks to me like the Flow has been "orphaned".  If you can still see the flow when going to PPAC | Selecting the Environment | Click Flows under Resources, then you would want to try setting a new owner of the Flow using Power Shell: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/powerapps-powershell

    using the Set-FlowOnwerRole cmdlet.

    Let's see if that works.
