Dropdown column in Gallery

Hello,

I am building an app for a client in order to manage the hours worked per project. For that purpose, I use an editable grid (gallery) entry screen. The back-end is a SP List. In this I have two dropdown columns (Project and Sub-project).

The issue is when user or I selects the Project fro the corresponding dropdown, the value of the dropdown impossimediately turns back to the first possible value of the dropdown. Although, the entry is writen correcty in the SP List.

Have someone any idea what couse this problem and how to solve it?

Default properties are unused (''1'') both, and the Items are:
For the Projects Dropdown: Choices(timesheets_output.OutputProject)
And for the WP (Subprojects) one: Filter(Choices(timesheets_output.OutputWP); Value in Filter(WP_list;Projects.Value=Project_dropdown.Selected.Value).Title)

@bartsio The default property determines which option is selected. Because it is jus "1", the first option gets selected. If you want a value stored in your SP list to be selected, you have to have a LookUp in the default property that finds the value already stored in the SP list.

My problem is when I select a specific choise, as you can see in the recording. I select a value and immediately the dropdown changes that value.

@bartsio As have mentioned before, the default property determines which option is selected. Because it is just "1", the first option gets selected. If you want a value stored in your SP list to be selected, you have to have do a LookUp in the default property that finds the value already stored in the SP list.
It will look something like,
LookUp(timesheets_output; whatever the match criteria).OutputWP

@CNT Thanks for the feedback. I have another issue now. OutputProject and OutputWP are lookup columns in SP List based on another SP List. Thus, I cannot use .OutputProject on the LookUp. Do you have any idea?

@bartsio You have to do a nested LookUp. In the inner LookUp find the record in the 1st SP List and then go for the other in the outer LookUp.

@CNT Maybe I did't place the problem correctly. In Powerapps I have an error in the proposed LookUp. The error says that in the .OutputWP it should be a Text value. Instead OutputProject is stores in SP list as lookup column.
Thanks for all the help! Dou you have any idea?
