hi guys

i have created a nice flow, i need some help with 1 part of the flow  if the compliance officer goes into the sharepoint custom list and  changes the value of 1 of the lines (descision on the conflict which will be reviewed once a month) , it should send an email to the person's email thats captured in the 1st column (text field which i capture from forms when the user submits their conflict of interest. below is  the flow (ps i have a descision split because i need the option to add back email approvals in the future and based on that it will go different routes. conflict of interest flow for community.PNG

    Hi @tiaanop123 ,

From your screenshot, there is no action that can capture changes to the List item.

We generally use When an item is created or modified as a trigger to monitor whether the list item has changed. You may need to create another Flow to achieve your needs.

thanks for the reply, already busy setting up a new flow to achieve this, and i saw that trigger.

my last question "When an item is created or modified" can I tell it to look per line in the sharepoint custom list, or does it look at the whole sharepoint list as a whole? Coz I need it to look only for changes per line and then notify the person that has been captured in the 1st field of the list.

    Hi @tiaanop123 ,

It monitors the whole SharePoint list, a new item is created or an existing item is modified, the Flow will be triggered.

    Hi @tiaanop123 ,

You may not understand what I mean. This trigger will monitor all changes in the specified list. For example, if an item is changed, Flow will also trigger.

If you only want to monitor whether a specified item has been changed, you can refer to the following method to set the trigger condition.

    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Flow/New-Trigger-Conditions-for-Flow/m-p/798671

Determine if the item ID is the ID of the specified item. I set the ID to 1.
