I have a group of 60 and older senior citizens administrators that is going to work with our resident application. I am trying to understand if your Power Automate can be used to automate work task that reside on another application. The task for these various administrators would be things such as:
Yes I wanting to help manage worksteps on a website. These senior citizens have difficulty with repeatable steps
Thank. Does not sound like this will help
Hi @Jimgolf, Power Automate connects up different applications, so whether it will be useful for your purposes partly depends on what the applications are that you use and whether a connector is available for them. A flow in Power Automate has a single trigger and then as many actions as are necessary to achieve your task. For example, a trigger might be "run at 5pm every Friday" or a SharePoint "when a file is created" or a Forms "when a new form is submitted" or any one of masses of others.
By the sound of it though it seems almost as if you are wanting to help manage a website and it's not really that sort of app. It works beautifully with platforms like SharePoint, Forms, Planner, Excel and there are connectors for about 250 external applications.
Some of the things on your list can be done, for example creating events and sending an email to your members when a news item is published. But Power Automate won't manage images, it will just react to changes in your image library or when you upload a new image. And it can't create a new distribution list.
A bit more info about what application(s) you are using would be useful.
