In Power Apps Studio, the Application Comments keep disappearing

Hi,

current power apps release: 3.25011.8

recently, exact timeframe unknown but within only a couple of weeks, the Comments attached to my Application within Power Apps Studio have been disappearing (missing, deleted?) as I've been saving my application.  These comments used to be persistent from save version to save version, and I was using them for Release Notes, etc. This quite annoying that they are disappearing like this. Anyone else seen this behaviour?

Best regards,

Dave.

A similar problem was reported in Power Query, where comments added directly in the code were removed upon validation. The solution worked was to add comments through the Advanced Editor, which preserved them after saving,

But for managing comments or documentation in Power Apps -

    • Use external documentation tools for release notes or comments until the issue with in-app comments is resolved.
    • You can embed notes as labels or comments within hidden controls inside the app for internal reference.
