"Click Download Link on Webpage" not working after using "Launch new Internet Explorer"

Hello Community,

I am unable to use "Click Download Link on Webpage" with "Launch new Internet Explorer" action in launch mode "Launch new internet explorer" while the old "Launch automation browser" works perfectly still". If Microsoft discontinue the "old automation browser" then we will be in problem. Please assist to navigate this blocker.

    This is a could be know limitation. The "Click Download Link on Webpage" action only works with Automation Browser — it won't work with "Launch new Internet Explorer" or Edge/Chrome/Firefox.

    More importantly, Automation Browser is officially deprecated by Microsoft — migrate before it gets removed.

    Recommended fixes:


    • ✅ Use HTTP "Download from web" action — pass the direct file URL, no browser needed (Microsoft's own recommendation)

    • ✅ Switch to Launch new Microsoft Edge — stable, supported, long-term safe

    • ✅ Use Desktop Recorder for the download step instead of the web recorder
