How to get attachments from the Dataverse and store them in Sharepoint

Hello

We have an external app that customers can use to request a payment. We have the same app for internal users.

The internal app updates a sharepoint list but the external updates a dataverse table.

Internally the dataverse table is unlikely to be used so i'm trying to create a flow to update the Sharepoint list when the dataverse table is updated

Below is the flow I have... I can get everything to work as expected but though the attachments are listed on the Sharepoint list I can't open them. would appreciate any help.

    Hi @GregBurden-Lowe

    You need to get content from Document column, parse it (it contains JSON data) and convert it to binary before uploading to SharePoint (in my case, create a new file, in your case, add an attachment):

    base64.png

     JSON schema is the following:

    {
     "type": "object",
     "properties": {
     "isBase64": {
     "type": "boolean"
     },
     "encodedValue": {
     "type": "string"
     }
     }
    }

    Hope that helps!

    Hi @fchopo

    thank you so much for you're help..  However, I'm trying to follow your instructions and getting the following error:

    The 'content' property of actions of type 'ParseJson' must be valid JSON. The provided value cannot be parsed: 'Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: J. Path '', line 0, position 0.'.

    Maybe I added an extra blank line at the beginning of the JSON schema (remove that, please).

    @GregBurden-Lowe

    For me, I can convert the value of the Document column (documentbody) to binary without Parse JSON step and it works fine.

    base64ToBinary(items('Apply_to_each')?['documentbody'])

    Read this post for more details.
