Custom text field for Approval

Hi guys,

am about to build invoicing process flow with approval process in the way: Shared mailbox->Sharepoint->approval->sharepoint approved->notification to accounting dep. However I would need to add more custom input fields in to the approval process, like Project code, Cost, etc. (filled by approver) So far am using comment field, but I would need more than one of this fields to separate the data. Is there any way how to achieve this?

    Hey @Frantisek

Currently adding custom text input fields is not supported within the approvals connector. If you think this should be added as a feature, you can create a post here or upvote already existing ones with a similar use case.

    Hope this Helps!

Very frustrated that the "Solved! Go to Solution" is not a solution at all, but just admitting that this very desirable feature is not available. I found another feature request for this that is pushing three and a half years of "Under Review" by Microsoft. I mean, come on.

3 years later... yet another half baked product from microsoft, abandoned. such an essential feature with no work around. unbelievably frustrating

Hi, I was facing the same problem, but now I think the solution is using the adaptive cards which can be added easily in the Power Automate

You can find the adaptive card schema here: https://adaptivecards.io/explorer/
