I am trying to create a flow whereby e-mails from a named external individual account are forward to a shared account and deleted from the intended recipient's so they don't have to deal with "nuisance" calls and we can apply our contact policy through a senior staff member accessing the shared account.
I cannot seem to avoid the following:

Its failing at step 2.
Is it because it's an external e-mail address?
I suspect step 3 will have a similar problem with ID
I haven't experimented with an internal e-mail address.

I am not sure what you mean by that.
I have used all manner of dynamic references to the original trigger i.e. the From being the essential filter and I am still getting the same message. I have cleared the content and followed the suggestion in the step fields and occasionally error message refers to some random e-mail address??
I give up.
In your mapping you are using message id as email address. That must be the id from the previous action step which is your trigger.
