Hi there,
I'm having an issue during creation of SharePoint items, where the values in a Date Time column are +/- 5 hours or so depending on the user. I can't find the best solution.
-I have a suite of apps that our departments use to report their monthly KPI's.
-When team members open their app, OnStart it checks to see if they have record to edit for the current month. If no, then it creates those records in multiple sharepoint lists.
The column that is getting broken is the 'Start of the Month' column, which should always be equal to the first of the month at 12:00:00 AM. However, when certain users access the apps, the 'Start of the Month' values will be off. This is bad because it adversely affects my DatePickers for filtering.
For example, when I log into the app and the records get created, the date time will be created correct, 1/01/2023 12:00:00AM.
But when my user logs into the app, the record gets created as 12/31/22 12:00:00AM.
I know this has something to do with the region settings, which I cannot really edit. I think by default our 365 region is set incorrectly.
What sort of dynamic solutions are there for this?
