Populate a Microsoft Word Template: Empty Strings as OBJ in Table

Hello there.

I created a Microsoft Word Template Document which has Content Control fields in an table.

This document gets populated with the Action 'Populate a Microsoft Word Template'.

It is possible that an Content Control Field is empty. (Either an value is not existing or the value is an empty string - doesn't matter).

After the Flow is done and a Populated Document is created the populated fields that should be empty look like this (OBJ):

'OBJ' only occurs when the Content Control in an Table is populated with nothing (not existing value or empty string for example).

Is it possible to let the Content Control Field in an Table be actually empty instead of 'OBJ'? Is this case somewhere documented?

    Hey there. Topic Owner here.

After testing around I noticed that my initial impression was wrong.

If the Content Control is placed after some text in the same line and gets populated with no value or an empty string 'OBJ' gets placed.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Please try this:

Select an control and turn on the design mode.

Enter a space and turn off the design mode.
