Markdown formatting not working in Approval emails

Hi there,

I have built an approval flow (start and wait for approval) and the formatting is not working. I understand that within the Details part of the Approvals action, it accepts markdown syntax. I have written out my message using markdown, but for some reason, it is not being applied once I receive the approval email. I basically lose line breaks and everything is bolded. What's odd is that last week it was working fine, but now it's not anymore.

What I want and how the formatting starts:

Once I save it, the line breaks disappear. Here's a full view of the Approvals action:

Here's what it looks like in the email:

Had a similar question yesterday. Try using the Classic Editor instead of the New Designer.

Great! Glad I can solve problems just by telling people to stop using the New Designer.....🙄😩(I CANT STAND THE NEW DESIGNER!)
