Create flow to move items older than 6 months from one document library to another in SharePoint

Hello all,

Im pretty new to PowerAutomate and need help with a flow. I need to create a flow that moves all items with a modified date older than 6 months and archives them in a secondary document library. This flow would run run once a month. Thanks in advance.

Hi Scott

I believe you are the person I need to contact for advice & guidance on Power Automate as whilst I am extremely technical, coding sometimes is a bit of a stretch for me

So here is my problem, I am trying to move files which are older than 1yr from SharePoint library to Azure Blob storage as this will assist with archiving & keeping SharePoint under control

However the PA flow I have setup just does not work so I am hoping you can lay this out for me please as I have tried the above but I could not set it up correctly

In my tests I can successfully move files from one SP library to another but as soon as I add in a condition to say older than 365 days it fails

Here is the flow

If you have any advice or can guide me through it would be appreciated

Remove your condition and add a filter query as seen in my screen shot below. Only documents older than 1 year will be returned by the Get Files action. My expression can be seen on the notes for the action. Please note the single quotes - they are required.
