Get Items filter Query not showing dynamic content

I want to create a flow to update each item in SharePoint list where the Employee column matches the Assessed by column. Both columns are person column.

When I grab the Get Items action, select my SharePoint site and list then click on Filter Query none of the dynamic content is available.

I've tried removing the action and re-adding it and receive the same issue.  Please help.

The query inside the Get Items action is an OData query.  Unfortunately, you can't use complex object columns like People/Group columns in an OData query. You'll need to get a broader set of records and then use the Filter Array to find records for a specific person.

Good to know about the person/group column thank you. I have other columns in my SharePoint list. Some are text fields. Do you know why wouldn't any of them show up at all?

Not sure why they wouldn't be showing.  You should normally see at least "Title".  Did you try searching for specific columns?  Also make sure View setting in the last entry under advanced settings isn't filtering out some of the columns.  Either Pick a specific View or set it to All columns.

I have the same problems, eventhough in subsequent actions i can grab the outputs of "get items" from Sharepoint list:

Note: only the "blue" dynamic content from Instant Cloud trigger shows up, instead of the list of "get items" from Sharepoint list, however they are available in the following blocks (green).

The dynamic content from Get Items won't show up until after the Get Items action is run.  So you can't insert the values from dynamic content into the Get Items OData query field, which is what you are trying to do in the screenshot.  That is by design.

Thanks, I would have assumed so, if not until i have seen the Filter Query, which indeed are filtering some of the Get Items output (leading to dynamic content)..

You can access the values in the Get Items output array for filtering using JSON syntax.  But you have to manually enter the JSON.  It won't be available in the dynamic content until after the Get Items runs.  The filter query runs after the Get Items, so the output is normally there by then.
