I have a service account which does not have a mailbox , and when i want to send an email using Office 365 outlook v2, i got this error:-
so should the service account have a mailbox?
Hi @johnjohn123
Yes the service account will need to be email enabled if you wish to send emails from it's account. Either that or you could set up send as permissions on another mailbox for the service account and use the connector that way.

@Jondoesflow thanks for the reply. but can you advcie more on what you mean by:-

@Jondoesflow are you referring to Email Delegation? to send an email as another user? in this case does the Send As user need to have a mailbox?
I think so. But I am not 100% sure
