Hi, we have a strange behavior I hope someone can bring some light into the topic. It's about - Comments in Flows: https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/collaborative-comments-in-power-automate/
and
Known Limitations/Requirements and ensured this is available or done
- Flow needs to be saved first
- environment requires dataverse
In the default environment every user has access to and can create Power Automate Flows. Here, once the Flow is saved every user can create a comment in a Flow. The users are Owners of the Flow.
What's the Situation/What has been done:
We created an additional environment with Dataverse in the Power Platform Admin Center.
Users have permission to this environment, Flow is shared with them, all tested users are owners of this Flow.
Problem:
- In this new environment, users can not create comments in a saved Flow (independent of the Flow trigger => manual, automated, scheduled, etc.),
- Comment button is disabled (greyed out / inactive)
- Users don't even see existing Comments from others, from users who are able to create comments
Users have the dataverse "Environment Maker" security role assigned.
What could be the case that users are not allowed to create comments in Flows? Is there any additional security role adoption required? Users can normally create and run Flows in this additional environment.
Thanks for input
