Power Automate / Planner - Direct Links to Planner Tasks No Longer Working

We have found in the last two days that the direct link to Planner tasks functionality is no longer working. The link successfully directs the user through their default browser to the correct MS Planner plan but the targeted task window no longer pops up. Anybody else experiencing this?

I can confirm that I'm experiencing the same behaviour 😕 -- and not only using that schema, but also when I use the full proper link from manually clicking the "Copy Link To Task" on the task itself.

i contacted support but they were no help, I reported it a sharepoint problem and they wanted me to reach out to the power platform team for support. I'm guessing they just wanted to hand me off to someone else because they didn't have an answer, they insinuated that it is only my problem and others were not reporting this issue. The person I spoke with insisted planner is a power platform app so I would have to contact power platform support. Before opening a support request I also reported the problem on the admin service health page and they closed it saying that they found no issue. I guess we will have to wait for a fix. I am happy to know that the problem isn't with my account only. Thanks to the others reporting it.

Stay tuned. I have an open MS support case pending. It has been escalated to engineering and MS acknowledged it as a systemwide issue:
"I would like to inform you that this case has been escalated to me, for further troubleshooting. Hence, I will be your point of contact for this case. We were able to replicate the same issue on our environment. The issue has been reported to the Engineering Team and they have started working on the fix as well. I will keep you posted with the updates."

Please continue, I use planner as a kanban for multiple projects and "direct link to task" is must-have. Thanks

Yes, we also have this issue, which, as others have said, is making our processes painful (we use direct links from One Note to the Planner task a lot). Thank you all for raising the issue, hopefully it gets fixed quickly!

Users in my organization are also experiencing the same issue. Have tried multiple troubleshooting steps (different browser, different planners, modifying the hyperlink, changing the plan settings, etc.) but nothing has worked.

Please keep us posted on any feedback from Microsoft.
