Wait for email reply

In my flow I send an email requesting a reply.  The reply email only contains a date in the body of the email.  I want to extract the date from an email reply and use it to create a 'delay until' etc.  I'm only expecting one response to it but as soon as I create a 'Compose' it assumes I want to put further steps within a "Apply to each" box.

Is it possible to tell it I only want a single reply?  Alternatively, can I use the data from the first result from the Apply to each box?  I originally set it up as an independent flow but I really want it integrated within this flow.

Thanks in advance

    Hey @langas1984

Maybe you can use the index value for this. Then apply to each won't come.

Like whatever dynamic value or expression you have given in 1st compose action,

    just write,

    DyanmiccontentExpression?[0]

Thanks.  I've tried all sorts but cannot get it to work.  I've done some more digging and I think these "apply to each" boxes always come up when using a trigger within an existing flow and I don't think it's good practice.  It's a shame because all I wanted to do was get a date from someone by email so I can use that in the flow.  I've probably over complicated it.  Thanks for your help.
