Power Apps not show Person searching

I create a list in SharePoint with a column 'Department Head Name'; type person or group.

Then I link this SP with Power Apps but in the app when I select field 'Department Head Name', it's not showing name search

Please advise what I should do to make it show name base on what user type in.

The question is, how did you connect this Dropdown / Combobox to the SharePoint list?
Are there any records in this SharePoint list before trying to select a name?
You will only see names that are in the existing records in the SharePoint list if you connected the dropdown:
'SPList'.'Department Head Name'

To see all names from the OutLook, you will have to use OutLook connector.

Hi @Thanidcha ,

I can see from your screenshot that you are using a modern combobox. some modern controls are in general availability but not all of them including combobox, so first i would suggest
replace the combo box with a classic one
connect your combo box to your SP list
set Display field property to display name
set the search filed property to display name

Thank you for your reply. I already linked the app to SP. But there's no display field property under that datacard.

Hi Gochix,

Thank you for your advice. Currently I'm using '
Office365Users.SearchUserV2({searchTerm:Trim(Self.SearchText),isSearchTermRequired:false})'. I will look into Outlook connector that you suggested.

Hi @Thanidcha ,

I see and it's because you are using a modern form which are not ready for production use yet, so can you please add a new classic form from the list, like this below and then follow my suggested steps before
and please change the Items property code to this
Office365Users.SearchUserV2({searchTerm:Self.SearchText,isSearchTermRequired:false}).value

My ignorance, it's not Outlook connector lol.
You can also try version 1 search

Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm:Self.SearchText}).DisplayName

This should work for the classic combo box.

That's great it worked for you! but i just want to call out that you are using a modern form which is still in preview and shouldn't be used for Production apps because you might see some unexpected behavior from it.
