Cannot sign in PAD with my personal account

Hi,

I have already created some flows with PAD but now I can't sign in with my personal account, and there are some notice as below. Could you please help me see what happen? Thank you so much!

    Are you attempting to log in to your personal account on your organization's machine?

    When you created those flows earlier, were you using the same machine or a different one?

    Hi Deenuji,

     

    Yes, I'm using my personal email account on my firm's laptop. And I have been using it this way for a long time, and neither the computer nor the PAD software have been changed. I just restarted the laptop today and then I can't login PAD anymore. Do you have any idea on this? Thank you so much!

    No, I can't, maybe because we haven't purchased the enterprise version yet.

    Ah, I understand. Have you recently updated your Power Automate Desktop (PAD) version?

     

    Here are some troubleshooting steps:

    1. Try downgrading or upgrading your PAD version.
    2. Restart your Power Automate Desktop services from the registry.
    3. Reboot your system.
    4. Ensure you select the correct region during login.
    5. If upgrade/downgrade not possible then consider reinstalling the PAD version.

    Thank you for your replay!

    I have not manually upgraded my PAD.

    How can I upgrade or downgrade PAD without being able to log in?

    How can I upgrade or downgrade PAD without being able to log in? 

     

    Simply uninstall the current version, then download and install the older version provided below. Afterwards, attempt to sign in with your account.

     

    If you're not using version 2.39, please download - Setup.Microsoft.PowerAutomate.zip

     

    Once you've installed the above version and if your issue is resolved, you can consider upgrading your PAD version at a later time.

     

    If nothing works, you can also reach out Microsoft support team for the same.

    Hi Deenuji,

     

    I am very grateful for your answer. I have tried methods such as reinstallation, version upgrade, and downgrade, and have also contacted the company's IT person for assistance. In the end, I can log in to PAD using the company email. However, when I ran the process, it reported a new error again.

    In case my above suggestions helped you to resolve your issues, please mark them as solution for the reported topic.

     

    It seems you organization imposed DLP policies on your environment and some of the packages which you used in your bots are blocked by admin. Kindly check with your admin what are the packages you should not use as per company organizations.  Based on the report, exclude those actions in your flow and save it.
