Text Labels - Screen Reader Issue - Accessibility

Hi,

I've just finished going through the Power app accessibility Whitepaper, and incorporated all the mentioned standards into my app.

However when testing with a screen reader, I noticed that it announced the word "Button" after reading out each Text Label in my application. All of these text Labels have their OnSelect property set to false, and are purely for text purposes.

Is there any way I can stop the screen reader wrongly announcing that my text Labels are buttons?

I am definitely not an expert in accessibility options but can you check your labels and see what the AccessibleLabel property is set to?

Hi - I realised the issue.

PowerApps treats all labels with a TabIndex of 0 or greater as a 'button'.

Changing the TabIndex of my labels to -1 fixed this. 🙂
