Flow incorrectly triggered

Hi,

Recently I build a flow with an automated trigger which needs to send a summary of the posted teams chat via mail.
I used the ‘Teams - When a new message is added to a chat or channel’ trigger, which works properly when a message is posted. The problem is that it also gets triggered when a user is added or removed from the team. When it gets triggered when the team changes the mail stays completely blank because there is no message body.
I can create a validation, but it results in a lot of unwanted triggers of the flow which then get the status failed. So that’s not really a solution.

Does anybody has any idea how to solve this?

You can identify those messages based on their messageType, those should be systemEventMessage messages.

Use the below as a Trigger condition in the settings of the When a new channel message is added action settings to ignore them:

@not(equals(triggerOutputs()?['body/messageType'], 'systemEventMessage'))
