Hello,
I would like to build a bot to control a list in Sharepoint.
In addition to getting the list I would like it to allow me to add/edit/delete an element.
I have already developed a first agent but it is not working. I have given the entire site as a knowledge site and I have added the various actions but without success.
The list has mandatory fields, columns of type choice and other various dedicated columns.
Can you help me?

Create a Copilot to manage a list in Sharepoint
    Hello,

SP lists are not indexed, when you add the site as a knowledge source. The only way to add it is to use Actions to get items/update/remove. You'd need to use Instructions to properly guide the model to use the correct actions, depending on the prompt. All in all, there are two ways to achieve the result:
    1. Classic approach, where you use standard topic triggers and actions.
    2. Generative orchestration, where the model decides what to use.
I've wrote a bit about this here: https://copilottoday.com/two-ways-to-design-chatbots-in-copilot-studio/. In general, first approach is the safest one, because it's generally available. Generative orchestration is still a preview feature, so it's not ready yet and it's not meant for production use. You can read more about preview features here: https://copilottoday.com/what-is-a-preview-feature-in-microsoft-products/.

In case of any other questions, let me know. If the answer helped you, mark it, so that others can benefit from it.

    Best regards,
