Text conversion HTML => Text not working

I have a Flow that converts a flagged e-mail to a list item. A step between the trigger and the action is to convert HTML from the e-mail body into text. It's not working. I just edited the Flow to use the updated text conversion step, which is still in preview, but the result is the same. The body of the e-mail comes across in HTML code, i.e., it's in text, but with countless HTML tags. Is this just the way it is, or is there an approach I should use to troubleshoot the problem, or should I just get Microsoft support involved?

Dear Partner,

I understand you are trying to convert HTML text to simple text

Example: <Div> Sample Text </div>

Expected Result:

Sample Text

This can be achieved with the action "Html to Text" & it worked as expected.

I'm aware of that action--it's the one I'm using, and it does not work for me. I've recreated the flow, and it still does not work.

Did anyone ever find a solution to this issue? I have the exact same problem.
When a message is flagged, convert html to text, insert row into Excel online. All works but the body field is carried over with full html tagging and format.

Is the solution to this found? I don't understand why there are no replies. It must be case that not everyone is facing this issue all the time. It must be occassional.

Hello!
I don't if you did it, but try to add the "plain text content" output into the "Create item" step where you need the text, intead of the dynamic variable from the flow's trigger. For the sake of clarity:

In this example I converted the description from HTLM to text and then I inserted the output in the Create item step as diplayed in the screenshot.
