SharePoint - Update File Properties - Site Address Issue

I have an Update File Properties action which works fine when the Site Address is manually added.

But I want to make the Site Address based on a variable. This is for simplified deployment. I want to define the SharePoint Site Address in one place so it can be easily updated when deploying the Flow to other environments. The technique works fine for most SharePoint actions but this action is a problem.

I have created the variable and added the site address

Now I add that to the Site Address on the action.

When I save all the properties get removed and the Flow checker gives me the errors below.

There is no way to fix the properties.

I've tried to recreate the Action from scratch but Power Automate does not allow me to enter the properties.

Any suggestions on how I can over come this?

    Hi @oz909,

    In that case you need to provide the schema yourself (including the property names). Have a look at this blog from Paul Murana for that "The Update Item Update File Properties Trick":

    Make sure you add the library guid instead of the name, in that case the item property should appear.

    Below is an example (I only used your ContactId field, but you can use the other ones as well in the item field).

    {
    "Title": "Testing",
    "ContactId": "Test Contact"
    }

    Happy to help out 😁
