What happens if the full allocated capacity of licenses is used up in one month?

We have purchased a capacity of licenses for a power page site, which allows 500 users to access the site per month.
Once they access the site, the user has that license for the month.

If 500 users access the site in the first week of the month, will all other users simply be disallowed, or can the site be configured to use a Pay As You Go model to ensure new users can still access the site?

Basically, Power Pages will work on capacity unique monthly users.

    Hope it helps.

    thanks for the reply.

Im aware of this, and the question still stands.

    I have 500 licenses.

In this scenario 500 unique users log on to the site in the first week of the month.

will all other users, who are not included in the previous 500 users simply be disallowed, or can the site be configured to use a Pay As You Go model to ensure new users can still access the site?

To add more clarity.  Only unique users capacity are calculated monthly.  Because you have mentioned you have purchased a 500 capacity.  If all the 500 users logged in for the first week.

Power Pages will charge for monthly active users only. If you have a completely new different set of another 500 users. then you will be paying $2/user per month which is from tier 1. PAYG will not kick-off.

This price is cheaper than PAYG.

    Thanks.

Again, i know this, we purchased the 500 monthly licenses because they are cheaper.
There are other scenarios to consider here however.

There one or two months of the year when we may have 700  unique users hitting the site in a month.
We want to know how power pages handles this.

After the 500 unique users claim all the licenses in the first week by logging onto the site, can we ensure any other new unique users wont get turned away, without having to outright purchase more licenses?

    Hi @winston_smyth

I think you are missing the point. Let me simplify

    1. Monthly active users are charged ( doesn't matter if your 500 users log in only for the first week - rest of the weeks if they are inactive it will be counted in the monthly unique count)

    2. If you have more than 500+ users in different months then a Tier 1 pack will be applied.  You will be post-charged $2/per user per month only for that month.

From my experience. You will only get an annual bill if you are an enterprise company.

    Hope it helps.
