Enabling Enforce unique values via Power Automate SharePoint connector

Hi All!

I would like to enforce unique values to a SharePoint list text column that already has more than 5k rows (past threshold limit). Is there a way for me to do this via the Send an HTTP request to SharePoint action in Power Automate? Thanks for any info/insight!

    Hi @Bochie ,

    I made a sample for you.

    _api/web/lists/GetByTitle('LIST314')/Fields/getbytitle('Column2')

    {
    "EnforceUniqueValues":"FALSE"
    }

    Best Regards,

    Hi @v-xiaochen-msft ,

    Thanks! I just tried it.. it didn't work and I kept receiving a bad gateway error until I just cancelled the run. I did try it to a list that had under 5k of items in it and it works. Is it expected to work even with a list with more than 5000 items?

    hmm.. what I did bot do is check the list if it already has duplicates.. let me try that first...

    Hi @Bochie ,

    I'm sorry my initial test wasn't based on 5000 items.

    It seems that there is no way to set the uniqueness of a column when there are more than 5000 records.

    But if we set the uniqueness of the column before there are more than 5000 records, then it will also work after more than 5000 records.

    I'm not an expert on Sharepoint, so I suggest you go to the SharePoint forums for professional help.

    Best Regards,

    Wearsky
