New site not getting enhanced data model

Hi! I created a new site based on the layout 1 template in an environment with no previous sites. Based on the documentation this template supports the enhanced data model, but when it’s created it is still on standard data model. Enhanced data model is enabled in the environment. What am I missing here?

What you are doing is right, as a troubleshooting, I would suggest disabling the enhanced data model and re-enabling it, then recreate the site to see if it fixes

Didn't work to me, still showing that the data model is standard.
