Open a file daily, when the file name changes daily

I would like to automatically open a csv file in Excel every day and save it as an xlsx file. The problem is that the name of the csv file changes daily (date in the name), so I cannot enter a fixed name when opening the file. Normally this works with the variable *.csv, but Power Automate only displays an error message. What do I have to do?

It should work with just *.csv in the File filter. What kind of error message it gives you?

You can get the current date and convert that to date to which ever format the filenames date is and then search with that *%FormatDateTime%*. It being inside ** means file name contains

Launch Excel needs one specific document path. You can't give it folder location and file extension. You need to give it specific file to open. If you think about it if there were more files than just one then how would it know which one to open?

So first get the specific file path with Get files from folder -action. Then use Files[0] to open the first (and only) file in that folder.
