I have a connection to sharepoint online for a service account, now i want to share this connection with a co-worker, so they can use it when developing new and exsiting automated flows, but when i tried to share this connection with a co-worker user named "Test User", i got this error:-

any advice what is going on?

Hi

The "Share" popup is a generic UI shown for all connections, but not all connectors support sharing. SharePoint connections are user-specific and can't be shared, so when you try, you get the error: “This connection cannot be shared.”

As far as I know:

Shareable connections: Dataverse, SQL (Azure AD), Azure connectors (via service principal)

Not shareable connections: SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, anything tied to a personal account

Hi @johnjohnPter,

As @chiaraalina say, you cannot share SharePoint connection.

if you just want your coworker to edit the flow using the service account, create a connection reference in solution. your coworker can build the flow against that reference.

@chiaraalina i think when i share the workflow with other user as a co-worker, then the co-worker will be accessing the connection through a connection reference? i think this is done automatically behind the scenes for us once we share a flow with other users as co-workers ?
