I feel like I can't see the wood for the trees, here:

I need to provide a Button which has an OnSelect Function to send a Microsoft Teams Chat Message directly to another User, using the MicrosoftTeams connector for PowerApps.

I have seen and researched quite a few different ways how to not achieve this. Is it honestly that difficult? "Use Graph API", "Use a Flow", "Create a Gallery to get the ChatID from MicrosoftTeams".... 😕

Is there a standard way to allow a Microsoft Teams Chat Message to be sent directly to another User via PowerApps? I do not want to Post into a Team Chat or a Team Channel - just a "DM" to another User.

how do youidentify which user u are sending it to?

when you have a text label where u store the emailadress of the user u want to send it to u can use this in the onselect property:

Launch("https://teams.microsoft.com/l/chat/0/0?users=" & lblUserEmail.Text)

Please exchange the lblUserEmail part with the name of your label.

My App is to be embedded in Teams and it contains the MicrosoftTeams connector. I understand your suggestion (to launch Teams) - but that would not make sense in my scenario. I am looking for the correct syntax to send a chat message to another Teams user, using the PowerApps MicrosoftTeams connector.

as of my knowledge there is no "open a teams chat" inside the microsoft teams connector.

maybe look into graph api calls, but i guess this will result in the web version of teams. Are you building a Dataverse for Teams app, or why are you directly open the Apps in Teams?
