Help with building Approval flow without Approvals

Hello all, Im trying to build something like approvals flow but without Approvals connector. In short I have a Power app with two sections: One for user interface and one for admin interface. User creates request and its been stored in SP list and the journey starts.

PA triggers and after that goes to check a few things in one excel sheet. Next step is to check if user has more than one request submitted. Next it is updating the created item in status Pending. After that it is sending an email with options Approve/Reject to the manager of the person in order to trigger 'Passive Approval'. Next Im setting up a delay for 7 days(Time that the manager has to approve/reject the request). So here comes the tricky part: If the manager does not reply to the mail within those 7 days it is considered as Passively Approved. So my question is who to leverage the condition after the delay step i.e. If the manager Approves or 7 days elaps to trigger the branch where it is approved and if he rejects to go to the other branch.  Hopefully I have managed to explain it good. The reason for not want to use Approvals Connector is that I want to keep the Admin guys only in the Powerapp Approve/Reject and further actions. Thank you in advance.

    Dear SectorOmega,

You could define a variable before the split condition between 'Approval from Manager' and 'Passive Approval'. For example 'DecisionVariable' and set it to 'False'.

If the branch 'Approval from Manager' is triggered, set the variable to 'True'. In the branch for 'Passive Approval' set execution of the branch to depend on the DecisionVariable = False. If 'True', skip.

Hopefully this helps, if it does, please state so in the thread.

    Happy flowing,

    Koen

Thank you very much for the reply. This sounds plausible. But for Passive Approval Im using the the TimeOut option of the Send email with options which is set for 7 days. After that Im configuring th condition to run after: Succeeded and Timed out in order to cover if the manager presses the Approve option or he just skips the mail. So I need the Conndition to be Yes in both cases: Approve in the mail pressed or Mail is skipped(Not Actioned). Thus the reason Im confused how to configure it
