I am seeking your assistance with a functionality that I am trying to implement in SharePoint using Power Automate.

The desired functionality is as follows:

I am aiming to develop a system that numbers the items added to a SharePoint list in a sequential manner, but with a unique twist: the numbering should be based on the year of the post and reset at the beginning of each new calendar year.

To elaborate further:

Crucially, the sequence number should be reset to 1 at the beginning of every new year. For example, if the final post of 2023 is numbered 250/2023 (indicating it was the 250th post of the year 2023), the first post of 2024 should be numbered 1/2024.

The primary purpose of this feature is to act as a yearly post counter within a single SharePoint list.

I am curious if it is possible to implement this functionality within SharePoint or Power Automate. Any insights, suggestions, or potential solutions would be greatly appreciated.
