Create a UI flow (preview) - Desktop App - Launch recorder - Error - There's a problem with the recorder and your steps weren't saved. Please rerecord.

Help me😭

The recorder cannot be started by pressing the “Launch recorder” of “Create a UI flow (preview)-Desktop app”.

Error message "There's a problem with the recorder and your steps weren't saved. Please rerecord."

Is it impossible in Japan?

 

 

By the way, “Create a UI flow (preview)” of “Web app” has been successful.

 

My browser is Chrome. Ver. 78.0.3904.87(Official Build) (64bit)

(I installed Edge beta and tried them, but it was the same error.)

OS Windows 10 Pro Ver. 1903 OS buid 18362.418

    Hey @Anonymous 

     

    Can you check and confirm that you have the flow recorder app on desktop installed? You can get more details on a step-by-step setup for UI Flows here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/flow/ui-flows/setup

    I checked the documentation you taught me.

    But I get the same error.😓

    OMG😢

     

    ☑️Install UI flows on your device

    ☑️Activate the UI flows browser extension

    ☑️(optional) Install Selenium IDE to automate Web applications

    ☑️Install the on-premises data gateway

    Hey @Anonymous 

     

    Were you able to resolve this? 

     

    If not, I would suggest @Praveenpk365  and @Anonymous  to try spinning up a new test environment, provision a new CDS and check if you continue to face the same issue.

    I asked Japanese support.
    According to support responses, some tenants will not work.
    The support person tried several times, but the same phenomenon appears.

    I decided to wait patiently.

    Some people seem to fix it when they change "Current system locale:" in "Region Settings" to "English (United States)".
