Flow send email from the PowerApps user account

Hi Community,

We created a flow for a multilevel managers approval and flow is working fine . Flow is getting triggered from PowerApps when user click on "Approve" button.

We are using "Send Email outlook" connector to send the email from the flow and we used a generic email id to login with that connector.

Our issue is, When user "Approve" a request from the PowerApps , email is going out from the PowerApps user account not from the account used to created the flow email connector (Flow is created using Another account for email connector we used generic account login). What should we do to send all the email notification from a generic account?

Any help is highly appreciated.. Please let me know if you need any other details.

Hey @Yama_Vin

Note that A flow run from a power apps control uses the credentials of the user that triggered the flow from the app. To send emails from a generic mail account, you can set up separate Shared Mailbox and provide all the users that will use this Power App with permissions to send email from that shared mailbox. Then you can use the Send email from shared mailbox action to send the email from that generic account.
