split() with "(" as separator

Hello,
I'm trying to use a special character as delimiter in split() function. Specifically, I try to use the parentheses ")" as delimiter.

I've been looking for an escape character, so they're not recognized as syntax, with no luck.

This is the exact code with the delimiter marked. I've tried quoting it as with space (which works) but it does throw an error regarding the lack of arguments parsed to the function.

trim(split(split(split(triggerBody()?['subject'],'machine: ')[1],' ')[0]),')')[0])

Im using the function to match a cell used as key in an Excel column to update a timestamp in the matched row. It works correctly using another delimiter for test purposes.

Is it possible to use this character as delimiter? Or is there a workaround to achieve the same objective? I cannot change the mail Subject.

Thank you

    Looks like your sample text didn't come through.  Want to try again?  Maybe a screenshot?  Please indicate the expected result.

    Hi,

    there it goes. An example input would be:

    (group: sb_16161)(backup account: SBA-SI428816-ADMIN)(machine: ABKDSRV001)(plan: Remote backup of ABKDSRV001)

    And I need to extract the hostname after "machine:  " so the expected output would be:

    ABKDSRV001

    If there is a better way to extract it I would be really pleased to hear about it.

    Many thanks and best regards,
    Paibol.
