Deploying a Desktop Process on windows Server.

Hi
I have a Power Automate Per User Licence plan, and I built the Desktop Flows for different departments in the company.

I am having some confusion about deploying the process.

We have a Windows server and I Got access to the user account in that. I build flows in that with the per-user account.

Now I need to give access to respective users to Run/Use the flows.

Can Someone help me understand how to do this? Does it need any additional licenses for the users to Execute the Flow?

My thought was
To create Windows user accounts for each department on the Windows server, Install Power Automate sign in with the user account that I have the license, and share the Windows user account with them to run the Flow.

Can someone help is it right approach?

can we use the Power Automate Per user license on Multiple User accounts on the Windows server?

I have the same question (0)

The "right"  approach is to not run PAD on a Windows server. PAD is designed to be run on an individual's PC, and to include some element of interactivity. In all other scenarios you should look into Power Automate Cloud.

What @lbendlin said is completely incorrect. PAD is perfectly fine to be used on Windows Servers. However, the correct approach to do that when no user interaction is needed, is to have a "Power Automate Process" license ($150/bot/month) to run the flow on the server in unattended mode.

If you want several users using it without using the unattended mode, the "correct" way to do it is to have every user licensed with the per user license (a.k.a. the Power Automate Premium license for $15/user/month). Otherwise what you would be doing is called multiplexing and it goes against the terms of use of Power Automate (or any other product in the Power Platform for that matter). Every user benefiting from the solution you built must technically be licensed to use the product, even if they only run it and don't do any development.

So, the better way to do it, unless you only have a couple of users, is to go with the Process plan.

An alternative is also using a pay-as-you-go subscription that is based on consumption (i.e. actual flow runs). See here for more details on that: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/pay-as-you-go-overview
