Hi All.

I'm running an app that validate using data in excel currently saved in my "personal" OneDrive.

I want to save the excel table in SharePoint  instead if my OneDrive but PowerApps only lets me use SharePoint lists.

Is there any way to do this?

Many Thanks,

As far as Iknow, You can only use the Excel Table in the Onedrive not the Excel in the sharepoint.

So I advice you save to the Personal onedrive instead of the Excel in the Sahrepoint

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Unfortunately, Power Apps can't patch/read the data from an excel stored in the SharePoint document library. So what we have OneDrive connection for all excel operations.

Please see the below 2 thread and confirmation from Microsoft team on this:

I hope this resolved your issue if you see any challenge/need further help please let me know I am always happy to do it for my community.

I did think as much, but wanted to check.

Is there anyway of adding an excel document to any program that can be shared between admins?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

You can break the permissions on that document in the document library in SharePoint and add the requirement admins.
