Scenario Im trying to mock up is on create of a dynamics CRM email linked to an opportunity (which has a document library associated to it), generate an email with the attachments from that opportunities document folder?

An alternative too would be if from a particular sharepoint folder, an email could be generated with the documents in that particular folder (email doesnt have to be created in CRM)

Hi AusBee,

Could you provide some information about below:
1. As you had integrated CRM Online with SharePoint Online, when you uploaded a file to CRM Opportunity Document folder, in your SharePoint Online Site contents, did you find a library named Opportunity has been created?(Within the library, a folder named by the opportunity you created in CRM should also be created).
2. Did you mean that you want to send an email with attachments and the attachments should be the file you uploaded from CRM Opportunity?

I integrated my CRM Online with SharePoint Online, and a library named Opportunity was created in my SharePoint Online. So when I uploaded a file from CRM opportunity Document, the file would be also saved to the folder within Opportunity library. So I created a flow “when a file is created, send an email with attachment”. This flow worked well. Here is screenshot of my flow and it can be a reference for you.

Answers to your questions

1 Yes- we are using the standard OOTB CRM/SharePoint intergration and automatically created a SP folder when a new opportunity is created
2 Yes kinda

Your flow looks good although my scenario Im thinking of would be the ability to send an email with multiple attachments?i.e if there was a folder in associated SharePoint library for a specific record called 'Docs to Email', I would want to trigger something such that an email is generated with attachments from that folder.
I think it would be too hard to do through flow so will need some custom dev work 🙂

Hi AusBee,

Currently, it seems that we cannot send an email with multiple attachments using flow. As flow is being improved now, you could submit an idea at “Flow Ideas”.
