Edit: Just noticed that I may post this topic in the wrong forum, please move it in the right one if necessary.
Hello,
Couldn't find a similar problem to mine, so I'm posting this topic if somebody can help me.
My approval flow calls a child 'generic' flow, used to update a SharePoint list item after 30 days, in order to remove sensitive data in my case.
The delay seems to work fine, but not the next action which is an 'Update item'. When I check the item state, the data is not updated at all.
The problem is, the error output is not shown properly :
I don't know if it's due to that it's in a scope or not, so it cannot help me much. Also, an error handling has been implemented that is supposed to send a mail to our team, but I don't think it was triggered because I don't see any mail. Maybe the error was thrown at 'Update item'.
When I had developed this app, for testing the delay was set to 30 seocnds and it worked well but not for 30 days.
I said that it was generic because the parent flow has to set the SharePoint URL, the list name, the item id, the number of unit and the unit type.
Here's the problematic part of my flow :
Thank you in advance,
spoonhermit
Hello @spoonhermit ,
are you sure to not to reach the 30 days run duration limit?
