"It looks like something went wrong" error message

Hi

Short question - can I retrieve a 'corrupt' flow which refuses to edit? Whenever I try to edit it, I get the message "It looks like something went wrong' with the details:

Server/Client Correlation ID: c6b0354a-16b1-45f0-a44e-2b921d274646
Error: unexpected character ')', mode Function

Long version:

I've recently created a flow based on the "When a SharePoint item changes, Send an email" template.

Within the flow I had a condition on a boolean list field, but the test for 'True'/'False' wasn't working.

Following comments in another post on this forum, I changed the condition to true (without quotes) using the Advanced condition editor.

The good news is the test now seems to work, but I can't edit the flow now!

Any suggestions welcome

thanks

Hi @Angusham Thanks for reporting the issue. I am following up with the designer team to fix this issue.

Are you facing this when you newly create a flow as well ??

    Hi

Thanks for the reply - I don't get this with newly created flows - just on ones where I've edited to the boolean condition to remove the quotes.

Incidentally, I also noticed that typing in a value into the condition in the designer doesn't get saved (which is how I ended up editing it in advanced mode) - to reproduce:

Create flow on SharePoint item changes, send email template.

    Specify a SharePoint list name

    Add a condition

Select a field from the list

Type a value in the "Value" field for the comparison

    Save the flow

Re-open the flow, and the Value has not been saved.

The only way to save it is to edit in advanced mode.

    thanks

    Angus

PS - I should also say that I hadn't realised support was available for Flow now - so I also reported the 'it looks like something went wrong' error to support last night. They said a fix is due later this week/next week

    thanks

Hi @Angusham this has been reported to the designer team. They are looking in to a fix. To unblock you can recreate the flow and things should work as expected. Please let us know if you face any issues.
