Managed identity in the HTTP connector

I am building a flow that needs to call an external API using a managed identity. In the HTTP action under Authentication, authentication type Managed identity is available.
For managed identity the only option is 'System-assigned managed identity'. I get the warning 'please enable managed identity for the flow', yet i can't find anywhere how to do this.

Is this feature actually already usable? And is there any documentation available?
Thanks in advance

Managed Identity support in Power Automate is still a preview feature, and I haven't used it myself. If you're facing limitations, consider using Azure Key Vault to securely store and retrieve authentication credentials for your API calls.

    Here’s a helpful guide:

Is there any updates on this feature as I am trying to use MI for my HTTP action in a Copilot Studio flow and am finding 0 helpful information on how to leverage this.
